Police are researching after bicycles having a place with a family with kids on them were taken from their carport while they were in Airdrie.
On Friday, Feb. 9, a 59-year-elderly person went to his carport and saw that his carbon fiber Merida M3 bicycle had been taken from the carport.
The man added his two girls' Merida Hybrid bicycles and their number one off-road bicycle to the carport as the family is enthusiastic mountain bikers and regularly visits the riding trails around Airdrie.
The following morning, he went to his carport and saw his better half's "Toyota Vector" off-road bicycle was absent from the carport, which was appended to the Merida.
The man checked his girl's Merida and observed that a pannier had been removed the bicycle and put in the carport with the handlebars, seat and wrenches eliminated.
The man went to Airdrie RCMP and recorded a police report. RCMP Sgt. Neil MacKenzie affirmed police are examining.
This isn't whenever the family's bicycles first have been taken. MacKenzie said the family has had no less than three bicycles taken over the most recent 10 years.
The family is concerned that the cheats might return and take their children's bicycles, which are just utilized for going romping. The bicycles are exceptional and will in all probability be hard to sell on the underground market.
